Mantra Chanting & BreathWork Intensive with Nikhil
In the yogic tradition Bhakti or surrendering control to divine consciousness is considered to be the easiest of the 4 paths of yoga. For most of us, especially beginners, it’s difficult to meditate (as we have many thoughts); however singing mantras (like om namah shivaya, kali mantras ) and using ” positive emotions” as a tool to bridge the gap, we can quiet the mind more easily and feel the unconditional “inner self love”. This intensive also includes special breathwork meditation exercises to drop chronic thinking easily. Deep belly breathing relieves stress by increasing the intake of oxygen into the body, helps to quiet the mind easily and makes the blood more alkaline (The Anti Stress Recipe). We end the session with proven guided self-hypnosis technique of “yoga nidra” or yogic sleep to feel a trance like state of deep relaxation.
About the Teacher
Nikhil is a Certified Laughing Yoga Teacher from Bangalore. Hi is also a Sivananda hatha yoga teacher and Ayurvedic Massage therapist trained from Anjali school of Ayurveda and Panchkarma in Kerala. He has been conducting Yoga & Meditation workshops (hatha yoga, laughter yoga, music meditations, chantings, pranayama etc ) for may years in India, Poland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Thailand & Russia. He has also been assisting in the 200 RYS Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Programs (to train new teachers) with Bhagsu Yoga Institute, headed by Om Shankar Yogi. Since a couple of years he moved to Auroville and since then he has been giving classes here.
