Creative Communion with Anandi
Creativity is universal. Living creatively is a conscious choice and needs aligned practices. Here, we explore individually and together, through breath, sounds, movement, poetry, painting, games, word play, story relay, body music, improvisation, observation and reflection… Each session has an emerging theme; the creative expressions will be diverse, and converge into creative communion within oneself and with each “other” in the group and beyond.
These classes do not require advance registration (drop-in) and they are suitable for all who come with an open and playful heart. The cost is Rs. 300 for guests, we offer a 50 % discount for Auroville volunteers, and on donation for Aurovilians & Newcomers.

About Anandi
I’m Deli Zhang (Anandi). I was born and grew up in Chongqing (meaning “double celebration”), southwest China and came to India on my “worldwide travel” in 2014. When I first learned about Auroville, I knew this is the place to be, before coming here. Now I live in Auroville and have been involved in gardening, farming, organisation, book publishing, creative designs, exhibitions, education, healing, and theatre play. All the while I am tuned to the inner journey and continue “travelling” by meeting and working with people from various backgrounds.
I have been translating Sri Aurobindo and Mother’s works, writing and translating poems and stories, and self-published poetry books including Poetic and…, Weave Lifelines, Living India, Nature Lures, etc. as gifts to myself and interested readers. Here is a short video of me on The Rhythm of Poetry.
Now, more and more, I feel the need to integrate all that I have been observing, learning and practicing and offer it in holding the space of Creative Communion, for us integral, complete beings to live our inner truth daily, playfully, from moment to moment.
