Hatha Vinyasa Flow with Saraswati

Hatha Vinyasa Yoga is a beautiful combination of two different disciplines. Vinyasa, meaning “breath-synchronized movement” and Hatha, which represents the union of the sun (Ha) and the moon (Tha). Hatha Vinyasa yoga unifies opposing forces and brings together the body and mind through the force of determined strength and effort.

This yoga style includes vinyasas (a series of connected movements through breath), asanas (poses), pranayamas (conscious breathing), Sanskrit mantra chanting, meditation, and relaxation.

During a Hatha Vinyasa class, you will experience steady and flowing movements from pose to pose in a sequence synchronized with breath, often pausing to hold poses for various lengths of time. This practice builds strength and flexibility through movement, while the conscious rhythmic flow of the breath helps boost energy and health. The stillness during holding poses promotes a focused mind and mental calmness.

What to Expect:
* Dynamic yet Grounding: Flow through poses with breath awareness, building both physical and mental resilience.
* Intermediate-Friendly: While all levels are welcome, this class offers a dynamic practice best suited for those with some prior yoga experience. Modifications are provided to support different needs.
* Contribution-Based: No fixed price—contribute according to your means and generosity.
* Practical Tips: Bring your own mat if possible (mats are also available). Practice on an empty stomach, allowing a three-hour gap since your last meal.
